Insulated Bearings SMART-800 Prevention of Electrical Erosion for Inverter Motors

The PTH SMART-800 is a high-precision insulated bearing designed to protect inverter-driven industrial motors from electrical erosion caused by PWM switching. In variable-frequency motor systems, shaft voltage can generate discharge currents through the bearing, leading to fluting, pitting, premature wear, and early bearing failure. The SMART-800 blocks this current path with an insulation resistance of more than 250 MΩ at 800 V test voltage, helping to extend bearing service life and improve motor reliability.
